Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do you refurbish parts for cars and motorcycles?
Yes, it is the main area of the Company's activity. Thanks to this, we are well-familiar with the solutions used by manufacturers, and we know how to deal with worn-out material or workmanship problems.
2. Do you duplicate parts? Do you do bodywork repairs of the parts?
Yes, we are happy to help whenever it is possible to save the original part. We are familiar with the problems associated with renovating classic cars and we are prepared to face them.
3. How much will it cost?
Due to the nature of our business, it is impossible to establish a single price list. Each element requires a different amount of work and effort, therefore, prices are established on a case-by-case basis.
4. What is the estimated service delivery time?
In the case of chrome-plating of new elements, we are usually able to deliver the service within a few days. However, when it comes to renovation, the process is a lot more time-consuming. Before an element is placed in an electroplating bath, old coatings, corrosion and dirt have to be removed, cracks need to be filled and the element needs to be polished. The time of service delivery is always agreed upon on a case-by-case basis.
5. What can you chrome-plate?
Our technology allows us to chrome-plate all steel, aluminum, zamak and stainless steel elements.
6. What are the biggest elements that you can chrome-plate?
We can apply glossy coatings (copper, nickel, chromium) to elements with the maximum dimensions of 2500 mm x 700 mm x 900 mm. For matte coatings (on elements made of aluminum and zinc alloys), the dimensions are: 2000 mm x 700 mm x 900 mm.
7. Do you chrome-plate aluminum alloy wheels?
Yes, but only in the case of special wheels. The cost of obtaining chromium of sufficient quality is often higher than the cost of buying new wheels.
